Awesome! The house was exactly as listed. Location was fantastic and the access to the Redwood trails in the backyard was amazing! The host was extremely helpful and sent us several tips on places to visit.

This home is an absolute gem in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood! It’s a fantastic mix of antique charm and modern conveniences. The location is superb — a perfect jumping off point to Eureka, Ferndale, and the Redwood National and State Parks. The Humboldt Community Forest trails are just a few steps off the backyard. My kids loved the basketball hoop! We feel so lucky this listing was available for our trip, and we would book again in a heartbeat.

The place was even more stunning in person. Beautiful landscaping with the forest steps from the backyard. If we ever make it back to Arcata we will definitely stay here again.

We've stayed here twice and love it. You can walk out right into the Arcata Community Forest! And the place is comfortable and well equipped. After a few days I did notice that I wanted a bit more light indoors, my own house has more windows.
